Advise On Services Not Fulfilled ... Disputed Charge On Credit Card

Location: fl I paid upfront $2k upfront for a pest problem. Service was supposed to be 3 days a week until problem resolved with a service of sealing any openings.

The sealing process went ok however the problem with the pests still remained because they now trapped the pests in the home. There were several 'no shows' unless I called and practically begged for someone to come. Then when someone did show up it was typically after hours and the individual was inebriated.

After about 5xs of such visits and at my wits end decided to call the company for a refund. They gave me the run around but finally after escalation i was told the same inebriated individual will contact me to discuss a possible refund. Highly unlikely seeing the complaint is about them. Never heard from them again. Conversation was recorded and disclosed.

Finally disputed the charge with my credit card and was refunded me. However,now the the corporation has decided to make contact and mailed me a past due balance and emailed me saying that the visits went as planned and I must pay or contact for further service.

My goal: to be fair I would be willing to pay some of the bill for the sealing but I must now hire another company to deal with the pests still present. Where should I go from here? Any advise welcomed.
