Father Reported To Aps Falsely Out Of Spite By A Family "friend"

My dad was falsely reported to APS over my grandmother as being neglectful. While we're not 100% sure, we're 99% sure we know who reported him, given the time of the report and events.

Background: My grandmother has dementia which is getting worse by the day. She is still somewhat independent, lives on her own and still drives, although we're slowly taking certain things away that are deemed unsafe for her or others, car may be soon to go. My father hired a caretaker to come in to help her with anything she needs, as he isn't able to watch over her 24/7 and we're not sure she's at that point yet. The caretaker is coming in once a week to be adjusted for more time if she deems it necessary.

A family friend of my grandmas who's had a history of mental illness suddenly comes back into my grandma's life over the past few months. We're not fond of her to be transparent, but we didn't intervene because it was harmless at first. However, that changed when this woman met the caretaker for the first time, and proceeded to physically and vocally berating her, calling her racial slurs and preventing her from doing her job. That's when my dad stepped in and blocked her number and told my grandma to not have contact with her, as she is actively hurting my grandma's help. What proceeded was a long chain of text messages talking about how evil mexicans are (the caretaker is mexican) and how she hopes my grandmother dies soon. Unhinged stuff, but all those texts have been given to the caseworker.

Now, after talking with the caseworker who showed up conveniently a few days after this outburst to interview my grandmother, we find out my father was the one reported to APS. He's one of the only people in our family trying to take care of our grandmother, as his sisters haven't done much outside of a few calls. I know the report is false 100%, i'm just not sure what he should do legally to keep himself transparent and in the clear with them. I'm aware false reports out of revenge or spite happen often with social services, I just want to know if he needs to do anything else?
