I Found A Huge Fraud Charge In My Business Checking And Bank Denied My Claim

Location: Chicago Suburbs

I am hoping someone reads this that might have experience with Banking laws and help with some advice. About two weeks ago, I noticed a large debit of my business checking account (Over $27k) that I did not initiate. I reported it immediately to my bank and they filed a dispute. After a week of calling for updates and dealing with many incapable customer service reps, I was finally told yesterday that my claim was being denied because "the merchant for this transaction has provided us with a copy of your authorization to debit your account". I have not received that copy or any records for that matter but have requested them. I did see two subsequent charges for Intuit Quick Books on both my personal checking ($140) and again on Business Checking ($115) that were both denied by my bank because I had already placed my accounts on hold after the first dispute.

The bank (Huntington) has been less than helpful and I'm now seeking legal advice from anyone who may be familiar with this. My best guess is someone has hacked into my banking info and created an account with Intuit Quickbooks. I do not, nor have I ever, had a Quickbooks account. I have changed all my accounts within Huntington and changed all my logins. But my main priority is trying to track this $27k payment that I didn't authorize and I do not believe Huntington is taking this seriously.

Thank you in advance
