Neighbor And Young Son Harassing Me

i’m assuming this is a civil matter. back in february my neighbor moved in with her young son, hes 6. after a week or so, they began knocking on my door and ringing my doorbell nonstop. at least 3-4 times a day whether i was home or not. the little boy will try to guess the code to my deadbolt lock, my doorbell camera has picked it up and i’ve heard the beeps before while in meetings. he will stand on my AC unit to look into my kitchen window because i have privacy film covering 3/4 of the window and you cant see in if you arent tall enough. he tries to open my car door when im in my apartment. he has thrown objects including basketballs at my door and screamed my name while doing so. all while his mom is watching him. hes stolen peppers off my pepper plants on my back porch and given them to his mother, who takes them inside with her. shes fully aware hes doing this and has told neighbors she knows i dont like him so shes sending him to harass me on purpose

not really related but the neighbor got into a verbal altercation accusing another neighbor of trying to get with her boyfriend back in the beginning of june and that neighbor filed a peace order. i dont know all the details because my neighbor was clearly lying to me about whatever she did. ive tried to distance myself but she acts all friendly if she sees me in person. however shes been going around the last couple weeks talking about me with neighbors, who have reached out to me concerned about my safety. she is constantly on the phone on our porch talking about im going to beat so and so ass if they mess with me

this week things have escalated. another neighbor left a note on her door and i have no clue what it said, but my neighbor thinks it was me. ive been gone on work trips for the majority of the summer and my husband works a lot, so neither of us are really home and havent been this week. the same day they got an anonymous note, our leasing office went around and left notices on doors about upcoming maintenance. she instructed her son to take the notice of my door to compare to hers and then had him put it back. that night, she started knocking on the door at 6pm. rang the doorbell and knocked on the door again at 7:30pm. then again at 8pm. then again at 9:30pm. then again at 11:30pm and woke my husband up who did not come to the door or engage through our camera. the next day, i stopped by briefly and decided to cover my doorbell button so it cannot be rung until i get a metal plate from amazon that says please do not disturb. she saw it and freaked out. this morning, her son came outside with his ball and threw it at my door and window multiple times while screaming “YEAH OP YEAH OP THATS WHAT YOU GET OP” while his mom was standing outside with him.

i sent a few videos to the leasing office and will be putting all videos i have from february to now (about 300 videos) on a thumb drive and taking it to them first thing monday

my question is: is this worth reaching out to the police yet? or should i let the leasing office handle it first? if i reach out the the police, is it for harassment, stalking, peeping tom? i have no clue ive never had issues like this before in my life

im scared for my safety with how this has escalated over an anonymous note neither my husband or myself left (we know who left it, we have the video evidence) and me covering our doorbell up. its bizarre behavior and shes saying some weird stuff about me to neighbors who are starting to question her since they have known me for 4 years and have noticed ive been gone on work trips all summer. i want out of my lease but want to make sure i handle this the right way. the mom also has been ringing my doorbell non stop for months and beating on my door to get me to come out, its not just her son
