2027 Fiat Topolino Ain’t No Mickey Mouse Car

While dining at Olive Garden, you can order the Tour of Italy, where you get chicken parmigiana, lasagna, and fettuccine alfredo all on one plate. Unfortunately, that Tour of Italy can spoil after a while, but if you want a little bit of Italy to take home with you without leaving the United States, consider buying a 2027 Fiat Topolino and pick up a celebratory bottle of Prosecco on the way home from the dealership.

“Topolino represents an exciting new chapter for Fiat in North America, bringing the brand’s signature Italian style and la dolce vita lifestyle into the emerging micromobility space,” says Andrew Waterhouse, head of Fiat North America. “The response from customers has exceeded our expectations, with many of our Fiat dealers quickly selling through their initial allocations and proving there’s real demand for a vehicle that delivers simple, joyful mobility.”

The Italian automaker introduced the Topolino for the American market this past July, but for 2027 Fiat is introducing two new colors (Corallo Orange and Luna Greige), a new full-color digital instrument cluster, and the new Topolino Open Air body style that includes a soft-top rollback roof.

To show off the new body style, Fiat partnered with Sanlorenzo — a renowned Italian yacht maker — to create a one-of-a-kind Topolino inspired by the yacht maker’s signature stye and use of natural materials. The open-air automobile featured custom seat belts, genuine natural leather accents, and natural nautical-grade wood flooring.

The 2027 Fiat Topolino is a “street-legal low-speed vehicle” designed mainly for neighborhood and lifestyle uses. One can infer this means it most likely will not be seen at the drag strip unless some influencer gets ahold of it.

Topolino owners will also get to enjoy the fruits of Fiat’s collaboration with notable audio brand Monster. Called Monsterlino, this is a grab-and-go Bluetooth audio system attaches to the dashboard magnetically, and can even attach to your phone so occupants are never without music. Fiat notes that this innovative item will be available soon on Fiatusa.com for the rest of us that do not own a Topolino.

The 2027 Fiat Topolino is available now at a dealership near you for a starting price of $13,995 sans destination fee. Fiat also offers complimentary home delivery within 50 miles of a dealership.

If you end up with one, might I suggest looking up a better Italian restaurant than Olive Garden to celebrate? Sure, it has the Tour of Italy, but some smaller Italian restaurants have ingredients from Italy, which is better — trust me. Wherever you decide to enjoy your fettucine alfredo, let’s hope the only “little mouse” nearby is your Topolino in the parking lot.
