The body color was changed from the original Twilight Turquoise to the current combination of blue with a black vinyl top. Exterior features include chrome bumpers, bright trim, driver-side mirror, and dual exhaust outlets.

Another visual change to this Mustang is the set of 15-inch American Racing wheels wrapped in 215/60 (front) and 235/60 (rear) BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.

Inside, black “Pony” vinyl covers the front buckets and the rear seats. The cabin comes equipped with a wood-rimmed wheel connected to power steering, factory AM push-button radio, Audiovox FM tuner, woodgrain trim, and center console.

Woodgrain trim surrounds the instrumentation, which consist of a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, amps, and temperature. The odometer shows 63,568 miles, but this vehicle’s title shows that it’s mileage-exempt.

As the engine call-out badges on the fenders show, this Mustang has a 289 V-8 with two-barrel induction under its hood. It’s connected to a three-speed automatic. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator. If the engine’s horses get too rowdy, a set of manual drum brakes reigns them in.
