Autohunter Spotlight: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rs
Of all the various generations of the Chevrolet Camaro, my personal favorite has always been the first-generation models. And of those models, what really makes the Camaro look the coolest is the RS option, which featured hidden headlights. That single change to the front end makes an already nice-looking design cleaner and more futuristic. Today’s AutoHunter Spotlight is on a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Coupe that you can bid on at AutoHunter. The auction ends Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. (PDT).
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS is powered by a 327ci V-8 mated to a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The car is painted in the subtle color of Butternut Yellow with a black vinyl top over a black vinyl interior. It is offered by the selling dealer with a full-size spare tire, jack, owner’s manual, Protect-O-Plate, parts manual, and a clear title.
The exterior of this Camaro looks to be in excellent condition, with good paint and brightwork. There are some imperfections, but it looks pretty clean overall. The seller states that this is a true Rally Sport (RS) and is riding on 15-inch American Racing wheels clad with 235/60 Cooper Cobra raised-white-letter radial tires.
The Camaro’s interior features bucket seats covered in correct black vinyl. This car has the optional center console with a floor shifter for the automatic transmission, which does a lot to make the interior look more upscale. Mounted above that console is a set of AutoMeter gauges for water temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The three-spoke steering wheel features an RS horn button.
Under the hood is what the seller states is a 327ci V-8 with performance enhancements that include an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor mounted on an Edelbrock aluminum intake. Additional upgrades include an HEI ignition and headers that exit to a dual exhaust system.
The underside of this car is not show-quality, but quite respectable for a daily driver-level car. There is no evidence of any rust in the chassis. A good detail would make the underside of this nice Camaro look even better.
If you are looking for a nice pony car and want something to drive and take to a local car show hangout event — or even to use on a rally or event like the Copperstate 1000 or Hot Rod Power Tour — this Camaro might be just the ticket. It is the perfect example of a nice driver-level car.
If you don’t yet have an American sporting car, you should consider adding this nice 1967 Camaro RS Coupe to your collection. Go ahead and place a few bids — but do this sooner rather than later, as the auction ends on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. (PDT).
