Lexus Still Sells A Naturally Aspirated V6 Sports Sedan, And Only 350 Get This Green One

Lexus has unveiled a limited production special based on the recently facelifted IS 350 F Sport that will be available for the 2027 model year. The Special Appearance Package features a unique spec and will be limited to 350 units for North America.

The highlight of the special edition is the new Envious Green paint. This is combined with multi-spoke 19-inch BBS forged alloy wheels finished in black with red brake calipers. The Japanese sedan is fitted with the F Sport bodykit, and features triple-beam LED headlights and a moonroof.

Inside, Lexus designers opted for black NuLuxe perforated leather upholstery with Ultrasuede inserts on the F Sport seats and green stitching.

The cabin also features satin chrome details on the steering wheel, center console, dashboard, and door cards, a power rear sunshade, and a Mark Levinson audio system. Safety equipment includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, Intuitive Parking Assist and more.

Under the hood lies the standard naturally-aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine of the IS 350 producing 311 hp (232 kW / 315 PS) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic or to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic.

The special edition IS comes standard with the Handling Package, including an adaptive variable suspension and a Torsen limited-slip differential on RWD models.

The 2027 Lexus IS Special Appearance Package continues a series of annual special editions and appearance packages that started in 2022. The new model was announced at the end of the four-city Lexus IS 25th Legacy Tour in Miami, Florida and will reach dealerships later this year, with pricing to be announced closer to its market launch.
