Range Rover announced a fifth vehicle for its high-priced portfolio of opulent-but-capable off-roaders is coming soon, but it’s a … CAR?! Our own  Matt Posky lays out all of the details in great piece earlier today. The set-to-arrive-next-year GT is an all-electric Grand Tourer featuring a shape reminiscent of nothing else in the company’s ensemble. Although, at first glance, it does bear a bit of a resemblance to Cadillac’s uber-luxurious Celestiq. 

One thing’s for sure: you aren’t driving this thing over a moor, crossing a river, and then sitting on the back tailgate for afternoon tea after a fox hunt. Jaguar’s all-electric … Ranger Rover has — essentially — a car … next cats and dogs will live together …
