Acrisure Files Trademark For Ascendri Insurance Services
Acrisure filed a trademark application for Ascendri Insurance Services, signaling the launch of a new managing general agency focused on the high-value homeowners market.
According to the February 20 filing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Ascendri Insurance Services mark covers business risk assessment, risk management consulting, and regulatory compliance services. The application was submitted on an intent-to-use basis and is awaiting assignment to an examining attorney.
The new entity is positioned as an MGA specializing in high-value home insurance in California, with plans to expand into additional states. John Donahue recently announced that he has joined Ascendri as president.
The move adds another specialty platform to Acrisure’s portfolio as the firm continues to build out targeted distribution and underwriting capabilities in niche personal lines segments.
