Advice For Someone Who Has Everything In Cds

Card image cap

I am 30 and have about $550k in CDs. I have mostly been investing in CDs for the last year and half since it’s guaranteed money and feels “safer” than stocks since I know so little about finances and honestly more intimidated of losing money than I am missing out on big stocks. I am lucky because I was able to save so much living at home with family and growing a business at the same time, unfortunately I do feel like the business is slowing down and worried about the future. I’m not really sure where to go from here and feeling sort of lost since I hear so many different opinions and experiences. I live in a place where that money could easily afford a home being paid off in full so I hear a lot of people telling me to buy a home instead of more investing. Don’t get me wrong, I am very fortunate, but I would really appreciate some advice on what you guys think I should do or what you would do in my position. (New account since I know some people who use reddit regularly)
