B.p. Marsh & Partners Backs Ventura Risk Partners

B.P. Marsh & Partners has invested in newly formed broker Ventura Risk Partners acquiring a 25% equity stake and providing a £2 million loan facility.

Ventura is a London-based startup focused on placing energy risks into the Lloyd’s and broader London insurance market, targeting North American retail brokers amid ongoing consolidation in the sector.

The business was founded by Alex Taylor, a former energy broker at JLT Group and Miller Insurance Services, with experience placing energy risks and building relationships across the London market.

Abigail Benson, Investment Director at B.P. Marsh, has been appointed to the board of Ventura.
