Wall Street ended flat on Friday after softer inflation data provided limited relief to investors, while precious metals gained 2–3% amid falling bond yields. The Dow Jones rose 0.1%, the S&P 500 edged up 0.05%, and the Nasdaq slipped 0.22%. January CPI came in at 0.2% month-on-month and 2.4% year-on-year, leading US Treasury yields to fall 3–6 basis points, with the 10-year yield at 4.05%.
