Boston Celtics guard Ron Harper Jr. turned heads on Tuesday night with a career-high 22 points in a loss to his brother, Dylan, and the San Antonio Spurs.

Harper Jr., coming off the bench, shot 8-of-11 from the field and 6-of-9 from beyond the arc, providing a crucial spark amid Jaylen Brown's ejection. His scoring outburst included a flurry of threes in the fourth quarter that helped Boston stay in the game.

On the other side, Dylan contributed nine points, five assists, and four rebounds for the Spurs.

The game carried emotional weight for the Harper family. Ron Jr. and Dylan are the sons of five-time NBA champion Ron Harper Sr.

Ron Jr. embraced the moment, crediting his preparation and the Celtics' system for his breakout. "It's special playing against my brother, but once the ball tips, it's all business," he said postgame.

This matchup adds to the NBA's rich history of brotherly rivalries, reminiscent of the Holidays and Antetokounmpos. As the season progresses, both Harpers aim to build on their trajectories.

Harper Jr. has appeared in 19 games for the Celtics this year, carving out a role as a lengthy defender and microwave shooter off the bench.
