Week 7 in the Atlantic Coast Conference produced fairly routine outcomes, even if the path to get there was a bit bumpy.

No where was that more evident than the Miami-Florida State game, in which Hurricanes quarterback Darian Mensah and No. 3 Miami continued their run through the ACC with a 43-35 double overtime over Florida State that featured two controversial calls to end the game.

Elsewhere, Bill Belichick and North Carolina saw their 17-point lead collapse against Manny Diaz and Duke before McGill broke off for a go-ahead 24-yard rushing touchdown with 1:53 left to give the Tar Heels the win.

Kevin Jennings threw for 246 yards and two touchdowns in SMU's 10-point win at home against Virginia, while Kendrick Raphael recorded his second 100-rushing-yard game of the season.

Elsewhere, Louisville beat Syracuse on the road 34-26, and Wake Forest picked up its sixth win of the season with a win at Cal. Clemson also handled business with a 37-0 win against Charleston Southern.

Here's a look at how those games were reflected in the Week 8 US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 rankings:
