Cooper Flagg’s Card Store Opens To A Huge Crowd
Cooper Flagg’s trading card store opened in Bangor, Maine, on Saturday, and if opening day is any indication, the Flagg Trading Co. will do just fine.
People lined up in downtown Bangor, and the early birds got there at 3 a.m. to be at or near the front of the line. Clearly, there’s a lot of excitement about this venture.
The former Duke star is happy, too. Here’s what he told Bangor Daily News:
“I was already enjoying chasing cards and opening them and we thought it could really be beneficial to this area and the people. It was the best of both worlds for me: business, personal interest and my love for my home (state).
“There aren’t a lot of places like this. We will have a pretty good outreach and distribution. We will have a lot of product and will be able to fulfill the needs of a lot of people. I felt that struggle before (as a collector). Not being able to find certain things. You go to Walmarts and certain stores like that and stuff flies off the shelves.
“This will be a place where people can go and know they will be able to find some good stuff.”
Sounds like a great reason to visit Bangor.
