Delhi's Anti-pollution Plan: 50% Wfh, Higher Parking Fees & Construction Ban | What Changes?
With air quality in the capital set to worsen from November, the Delhi government has announced a series of measures to curb pollution. The decisions followed a meeting held by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta in the presence of Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav. From November 1, parking charges at authorised sites will double until February 28, 2027. Office timings will be staggered, and both government and private offices have been directed to implement 50% work-from-home. Dust-generating construction will be banned from November 1 to January 31, with a complete construction and demolition ban from December 10 to January 20.
