Disney World’s Newest Restaurant Isn’t Even Open Yet But We Already Know They Just Get Us

In case you missed it, a new restaurant is coming to Disney World!

Six Ravens is opening (hopefully) soon in Disney Springs! The new restaurant, which was created by the owners of Gideon’s Bakehouse, is going to offer savory bites that we can’t wait to try. After getting a glimpse at their new menu, there was one thing we noticed that made our entire team say, “Six Ravens just GETS US!”

There really is something so important about feeling seen. When we’re in Disney World, we can relax with people who are just like us! We’re finding the magic and joy together in ways that not everyone worldwide can understand. Now, it seems like Disney World’s newest restaurant really sees us. They see how much we want, no NEED, sauce. This isn’t even a joke; we are dead serious about this!

Six Ravens will offer seven different savory coffyns, which are essentially hand pies. What’s super cool is that coffyn pastries were originally a specific, medieval English type of dough, so they’re very on theme. We are seriously excited about these savory bites, but one line in the restaurant’s Instagram post has us buzzing with excitement. Online, Six Ravens wrote, “Every Coffyn purchase will include a HEALTHY dose of dipping sauce! No baby cups here!⁣” They are speaking music to our ears!

In the post, they shared a photo of some of the new treats with those BIG cups of sauce on display. Why does this matter? We have spent the last 15+ years in Disney World ordering and paying for extra sauce. At Casey’s Corner, we pay an extra $1 for cheese sauce. At Gaston’s Tavern, we always ask for extra icing for our giant Cinnamon Roll. At Ronto Roasters, we always pay the upcharge for extra peppercorn sauce! We are VERY serious about our sauce.

That’s why this short but mighty sentence has us reeling! It feels like Six Ravens has seen us and heard our complaints. All seven coffins come with a sauce, which also feels like a big win in our book. The coffyns, which have been created alongside several local businesses, include:

• The Peasant’s Patty: A Classic Cheeseburger topped with American Cheese, Dill Pickle Bits, encased in a Sesame Seed sprinkled Coffyn. Pairing: Pink Salamander Dipping Sauce.

• The Villain of Valentina: House Basil Pesto Chicken, Balsamic Tomatoes, and all the Kingdom’s Garlic, trapped in a Herb Panko-splashed Coffyn. Pairing: Bruno’s Garlic Knot Sauce. ⁣

• The Wizard’s Wonder: Mac & Cheese balanced with diced Pickled Poblano Peppers, BBQ Pulled Pork, shrouded in a BBQ Crumb covered Coffyn. Pairing: Prince Donut’s Smoke & Cherry BBQ Sauce⁣
  • Collaboration with @smokeanddonuts ⁣
• The Imperial Idol: Mildly Spicy Chicken with Potato & Carrot Coconut Curry, in a Fried Garlic-covered Coffyn, harmonizing to create this flavorful offering. Pairing: Red Panda’s Dipping Sauce⁣

• The Moreish Monk: Middle Ages Grilled Cheese using Vermont White Cheddar, Havarti cheese, and House Tomato Jam wrapped in a Parmesan-smothered Coffyn. Pairing: Wolf Peach Dipping Sauce⁣⁣
• The Forager’s Find: Our Spiced Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Black Bean Corn Salsa, and Queso Cotija in a Pumpkin Seed-topped Coffyn. Pairing: Tropic of Mango Aioli Dip⁣

Every coffyn has its own sauce? Have we died and gone to heaven? It certainly feels like it! In addition to the coffyns, you can also grab Tell Tale Tatties, which are a mini bucket of baked smashed potatoes seasoned with the King’s spices and served with Realm Famous Honey Mustard. That’s right, MORE SAUCE!

If you don’t want to grab your Gideon cookies by walking over to the bakery but you still want something sweet, you can also grab The Tarts Tempest. This is a Gideon’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Tart filled with Rich Chocolate Fudge & topped with house Raspberry Jam. We can already tell this will be a popular spot in Disney World, and you can bet we will be there with all of the sauces to try them all.
