Rabat – Morocco will participate in the Enactus World Cup 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil, from November 16 to 19, with a delegation of young entrepreneurs competing in several international programs.

The delegation will include Enactus EMI, the national champion representing Morocco in the main competition, FilahaTech from ENCG Settat in the Early Stage Competition, and two entrepreneurs selected for the Accelerating Impact Challenge.

The event will bring together young entrepreneurs, students, and innovation leaders from around the world to exchange ideas, present projects, and explore solutions to economic, social, and environmental challenges.

Morocco’s journey to the World Cup

Enactus Morocco, which has operated in the country since 2003, supports university students throughout the year in developing entrepreneurial projects with sustainable impact.

The annual program includes three tracks, including the Idea Track, which helps students identify problems and develop initial ideas,  the Action Track, which supports testing and developing solutions, and the Impact Track, which focuses on strengthening business models and measuring economic, social, and environmental results.

The cycle concludes with the Sustainable Innovation Fest, where teams present their projects before professional juries. The national champion earns the opportunity to represent Morocco in the Enactus World Cup’s main competition.

Morocco has previously achieved notable results at the international event, finishing as world vice-champion in 2014 in China and third in 2015 in South Africa.

In 2024, Enactus EMI from Mohammed V University in Rabat secured the vice-champion title at the competition in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Four representatives to showcase Moroccan innovation

Enactus EMI, the 2026 national champion, will compete in the main competition, presenting entrepreneurial solutions addressing a major healthcare challenge through innovation, accessibility, and sustainable impact.

FilahaTech, from ENCG Settat, will represent Morocco in the Early Stage Competition after winning the national title in 2026. The competition supports emerging projects as they develop their solutions and business models.

The Moroccan delegation will also include two entrepreneurs selected for the Accelerating Impact Challenge, organized in collaboration with Resolution Project.

Dr. Salma Bougarrani, founder of GREEN WATECH, develops solutions for wastewater treatment and reuse, particularly in areas with limited access to sanitation.

Rida Benahmida, founder of BENBAR Ingénierie et Conseil, focuses on digital transformation in the construction sector, including through artificial intelligence and innovation.

Their participation aims to help accelerate their projects, expand their professional networks, and explore new opportunities for growth.
