How Can I Prove That I Didn't Initiate A Charge Back?

Card image cap

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out a solution to an odd problem.

I use a rental service as a large part of my business. I received notice from my main rental source that they would be cutting ties with me and prohibiting any further rentals due to a chargeback.

The kicker is I have never initiated a chargeback, nor do I have an account with the card that is supposed to have been used.

It appears to be a Wells Fargo credit card that they are saying is linked to my account. I do not and have not ever had a Wells Fargo card.

Wells Fargo has confirmed that I don't have an account with them, however when I let the rental business know this and told them that Wells Fargo could provide proof of this. they pivoted to their IT guys suggestion that I've been using someone else's card for years. In security footage you cannot see my card, only my back.

This is a large part of my business,

30k easy in rentals every year. I appreciate the relationship I have with them, but it seems impossible to prove to them that I did not initiate a chargeback of any kind nor did I commit some kind of fraud .

Any tips out there?
