How To Find The Right Template In Microsoft Visio
Learn how to find the right template to address your diagramming needs in both the Visio desktop app and Visio for the web.
In this video, we demonstrate how to find the most recent or most often used templates in Visio desktop by starting from the Home tab. Or, users can select the New tab and scroll through the various views—Office, Microsoft, Templates, and Sample Diagrams—to find templates grouped by categories, such as Business, Education, Engineering, and Flowcharts.
We then demonstrate how to find the right template in Visio for the web by selecting “All templates” and navigating to the Template Library. From here, users can scroll through the various template categories or use the Search option to search for templates using keywords or phrases, such as “Project Tracking,” “Org Chart,” or “Milestones Timeline.”
