Jantar Mantar De-notified As Protest Venue, Delhi Police Circular Says…
Delhi Police has de-notified Jantar Mantar as a designated protest venue after nearly 33 years, naming Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground and CBD Ground in East Delhi as alternative locations for demonstrations. According to a police circular, the decision follows recommendations from a Union Home Ministry-appointed committee. A revised standard operating procedure for organising protests at the new venues will be issued separately.
