Just Started Playing With Home Assistant.

Im already sold. I can see the potential and have already been able to delete about 12 different smart appliance apps from my phone.

My next move is to install some 10.1 screens around the house to control various rooms. beyond that im looking at building a sandboxed ai machine that will be able to handle voice and face recognition to unlock various levels of control at the screens.

along with this I want it to start going through my business emails, schedules, invoices, and catalog everything for faster lookup. maybe remind me when the last time i was at customer x and book them an appointment. keep my schedule full. help me create invoices faster with access to my supplier price books and various calculators.

I'm already running an unraid server with sql servers, web servers, plex server, arrs, all the media stuff. this is a blast learning how much i can integrate. obviously some of what I've mentioned above isnt necessarily home assistant in its pure form but my dashboard will display my schedule for the day and week on it. the voice assistant ai is a huge bonus.

id like to replace the Alexa consoles through the house with something that's not going to spam me with ads and whatnot. just recently got the 21 inch Alexa screen thinking i could have several of my calendars merged onto the screen similar to how my phone does it but it wont allow me to add my work calendar, which basically makes it useless as 90% of my schedule is on that one.
