Larry Kudlow Gets His Election Predictions Horribly Wrong
Here's Larry Kudlow with his terribly wrong election predictions on his Fox Business Network show this Monday.
KUDLOW: My prediction, wait for it: voters, not polls, will decide this election. That's the subject of the riff.
Here we are, one day left. I'll say what I always say: polls don't vote. Only voters vote. One reason I can't wait for this midterm election to be over is that virtually every media outlet I know — not every one, but virtually every one I know — is telling me that polls vote.
It's a blue wave! Every Republican senator's gonna lose. Every Republican House member's gonna lose. It's gonna be worse than Milwaukee beating Tampa in five games in the World Series.
In this case, the polls are predicting Milwaukee actually won four straight games. Oh, wait, the World Series is over. It was four out of five. But you get my drift.
According to the New York Times/Siena poll, Democrats lead by 11 in the Michigan race. Pause right there. Just hang on a second. Really?
Because Democrat Congresswoman Haley Stevens just endorsed Republican Mike Rogers. So she's probably taking at least a third of the Democratic Party away from El-Sayed. The former Michigan Democratic Party chair has told people to stay home.
But the intrepid New York Times is still giving it to El-Sayed by 11? Aw, come on. Come on!
