Lpt: When You're With Someone Who Has Been After You Since Long, Be Very Particular About Your Boundaries And What You Feel Comfortable Doing.

Being polite, I realised, is not worth it after a certain point because takers will take as much as they can get, not as much as you can comfortably give.

I was out on date last night with someone that has been chasing me for years and I finally decided to give it a shot because why not? I told him I need to be home by 1 am. He knew all about my social anxiety, tachycardia and sleep issues (because | told him) and still coerced me into staying out until 4 am. I was on the verge of tears cos I was so sleepy and I had to be very rude to get the night to end, and even then he hit me with "I dont wanna bother my family getting home at this hour, they might wake up, why cant you stay longer? I'll have to drive around all alone".

I realised personally that this should apply to all relations in which the other has more to gain than you from your interaction or business together. Say for example, an employee turned friend looking for a promotion.

Writing this rn, next day, with the worst headache in months- Be Rude if you have to be to enforce your boundaries.
