Hospitality group Mandarin Oriental is deepening its footprint in Greece through its private villa rental collection.

Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes, the group’s hand-picked portfolio of privately owned vacation residences, is adding four properties across Mykonos, Corfu and Lefkada. Together, Casa Gaia, VAYRA, Villa Alice and SERENAOS give the collection a presence in both the Cyclades and the Ionian islands.

“Greece is a natural focus for the continued growth of Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes,” said Philip Leighton, head of Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes, in a statement.

“These four additions allow us to offer a richer and more diverse expression of the country, spanning the Cyclades and the Ionian islands, while remaining true to the qualities that define the collection: exceptional design, extraordinary settings, privacy and deeply personalized service.”

Each home is selected for its location, privacy and design and comes with the brand’s signature service, including a dedicated concierge, private chef, daily housekeeping and curated itineraries.

The largest of the new additions, Casa Gaia overlooks Fokos Beach on the rugged northern coast of Mykonos. Greek architect Loukas Bobotis designed the nine-bedroom villa with natural materials and textured stone, and the home sleeps 18 with an 89-foot infinity pool, a second pool, a private cinema and a path to a secluded beach. Weekly rates start at 69,062 euros, or about $77,000.

In Corfu, VAYRA spreads across a roughly two-acre hillside estate. Red rock unearthed during construction was reused in its walls and pathways, while landscape architect Eleni Tsirintani’s gardens preserve centuries-old olive trees.

The five-suite property sleeps 10 and includes two infinity pools, a roof terrace and padel and pétanque courts, from 24,360 euros, or about $27,200, per week.

Also on Corfu, Villa Alice is a contemporary coastal home built around indoor-outdoor living, with terraces and an infinity pool facing the Ionian Sea. It sleeps eight, starting at 17,059 euros, or about $19,000, per week.

On Lefkada’s southeastern coast, SERENAOS sits within a private olive grove overlooking the Lefkas Channel. Designed by architect Spiros Scafidas, the five-bedroom waterfront villa sleeps 10 and comes with a private bay, floating pontoon and boat fleet for exploring nearby islands. Rates begin at 49,700 euros, or about $55,400, per week.

Mandarin Oriental now operates 44 exceptional homes, alongside 47 hotels and 16 residences in 30 countries and territories. The group has also been growing its branded residential business, including a golf resort project in Dubai (see story).
