That opportunity opened doors, leading to early television roles and gradually building his career.

From there, Harmon began appearing in shows throughout the 1970s, steadily gaining experience and recognition. Eventually, he secured major roles that helped define his career, including his long-running portrayal of Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
