Video captured the moment a handcuffed woman wriggled out of a Michigan police cruiser through an open window and ran away without cops noticing. The woman, who has not yet been publicly identified, was arrested on Saturday, March 28, afternoon for violating her parole after a Muskegon Heights police officer discovered a vehicle parked at an abandoned business, according to ABC13. Police approached the car and identified the driver, but could not identify a female passenger, the outlet reported. After a fingerprint scanner was used to identify her, cops discovered she had an outstanding parole violation. She was then cuffed and placed in the back of a patrol vehicle.  wild-video-captures-handcuffed-woman-124A viral live video posted on social media showed the woman in all-black clothes looking out of the half-rolled-down rear seat window, appearing to scan for nearby cops. She then wriggled out of the window headfirst with her hands cuffed behind her back, lowered her leg, and hopped to the street, the clip showed.  Screenshot_20260331_111325_Instagram_177wild-video-captures-handcuffed-woman-124As the woman ran away, the camera panned to officers who appeared to be searching a white pickup truck beside two cop cars.  wild-video-captures-handcuffed-woman-124An officer tapped on the rear window only to find their arrestee had escaped, sparking a frantic search. The woman remains at large as of late Monday afternoon, March 30. A resident reported later on Saturday night that someone had attempted to break into their home around 4:20 p.m., the outlet reported. Police believe that the woman who fled the patrol car is a suspect in the home invasion that took place less than an hour after she escaped. The woman now faces additional charges of fleeing a police officer and felony home invasion in addition to her parole violation, police said. See video of her escape below.  MUST SEE: A Michigan woman is able to escape police custody by climbing out of a police car window while in handcuffs!A for effort! pic.twitter.com/o2EQXmPYoB AmericanPapaBear (@AmericaPapaBear) March 29, 2026  The post Moment handcuffed woman escapes from custody by wriggling out of open window of police car appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
