Nsppd Community’s Charity Activities Gain Global Attention

The charity efforts of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD) community have drawn widespread attention both locally and internationally, following a series of humanitarian interventions across several Nigerian cities.

Earlier this year, KPMG announced the selection of 240 beneficiaries for the Jerry Eze Foundation Business Grant, valued at $720,000 (over ₦1 billion). The initiative was designed to support entrepreneurs and small business owners with financial backing to scale their operations.

In a related development, the foundation also established the El Roi Orphanage Home in Umuahia. Speaking during the official opening, Jerry Eze said every child deserves proper care and guidance from parents, guardians and society at large. The cleric, who hosts the online prayer broadcast NSPPD across social media platforms, noted that the orphanage was part of broader efforts to provide support for vulnerable children.

The recent wave of attention follows continued outreach activities by the NSPPD community, including housing support, financial assistance to widows, and the disbursement of million-naira grants to individuals.

Clips circulating on social media platform X have captured various outreach efforts, contributing to the growing visibility of the programme. The videos show beneficiaries receiving support ranging from shelter to direct financial aid, prompting widespread reactions online.

International media platform IAM News has also spotlighted the development, describing the scale of the philanthropic efforts as “uncontainable” while highlighting the expanding reach of the foundation.

Observers say the growing global attention reflects increasing interest in faith-based humanitarian interventions, particularly in regions facing economic hardship.
