Orange, Cash Plus To Expand Financial And Telecom Services Across Morocco

Agadir – Orange Morocco and Cash Plus have announced a strategic partnership aimed at making financial and telecom services more accessible by leveraging Cash Plus’ extensive nationwide network.

“Cash Plus and Orange partnership that brings financial AND telecom services closer to the daily lives of Moroccans. This collaboration marks the integration of a new telecom product distribution business, enriching the portfolio of services available within our network,” the company announced today. 

The collaboration introduces two key services. Orange Money customers can now make cash deposits and withdrawals at Cash Plus branches, while customers can also subscribe to Orange Morocco telecom offers directly through the same network.

The partnership is expected to significantly expand Orange’s physical presence across the country. Cash Plus operates more than 5,200 service points nationwide, nearly 23% of which are located in rural areas, providing Orange with broader reach beyond its own retail stores.

“With more than 5,200 service points, nearly 23% of which are in rural areas, our local network is becoming a true multi-service distribution platform. A single place, accessible and close to home, for payment, transfer, digital and, for the first time, telecom,” Cash Plus explained 

The initiative is designed to make digital financial and telecom services more accessible by integrating them into locations already used by Moroccans for everyday payments and money transfers.

For Orange Money users, the process has been designed to be simple and secure. Customers visit a Cash Plus branch, provide their phone number, and complete cash deposit or withdrawal transactions in real time before receiving a receipt.

According to the companies, the expanded network will improve access to mobile financial services, particularly in underserved areas where traditional banking services remain limited.

“Beyond the complementarity between mobile payment and telecoms, it is a shared vision: to make the physical network a lever for inclusion, trust and accessibility, everywhere in the country. A new step in our ambition of financial and digital inclusion,” Cash Plus concluded.
