More than 100 property agents will be leaving boutique real estate agency KW Singapore due to recent leadership changes.

According to The Straits Times, the leadership changes were linked to the alleged extramarital affair between two former senior executives at PropertyLimBrothers (PLB), Melvin Lim and Grayce Tan.

Both previously held leadership roles at KW Singapore.

Lim founded the firm in July 2025 as a franchise of U.S. real estate agency group Keller Williams.

He also served as its operating principal, while Tan was its director of growth.

Lim and Tan stepped down from their roles at KW Singapore amid the controversy, the firm said on Jan. 29.

Jonathan Lee, a growth consultant at KW Worldwide Asia Pacific Hub, has been appointed to replace Lim as the firm's interim head.

KW Singapore has said that it is separate from PLB and operates as a standalone business.

More departures

The number of registered agents at KW Singapore fell from 162 on Jan. 28 to 157 as of Feb. 5, according to the Council for Estate Agencies public register.

Close to 100 agents are set to leave, and 38 salespeople have sought to join PropNex since January, ST reported.

After Lim and Tan stepped down, two senior property agents have moved to PropNex with their teams, PropNex co-founder and executive chairman Ismail Gafoor told ST.

These included "two millionaire producer agents, as well as multiple rising millionaire achievers and experienced team managers", he said.

Rayne Chua, one of the firm's top brokers, has also quit to join ERA Realty Network following the PLB controversy.

On her move, Chua said she was "looking for an organisation that genuinely invests in people".
