Pakistan Vs Australia Odi Series Officially Confirmed
The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia has now been officially locked in for June 2026, confirming earlier reports that the tour was being shifted from its original March window due to a packed international calendar.
The ODI leg was initially listed for mid-March under the Future Tours Programme, but the revised June schedule is designed to avoid clashes with the business end of PSL 11 and the IPL 2026, ensuring better player availability and workload management for both sides.
Another major update for fans is that Fox Cricket has secured the broadcasting rights for the Pakistan leg of the series, meaning the tour will have dedicated coverage for Australian audiences as well.
While the ODI dates have moved, the broader tour plan remains intact, with the earlier schedule indicating Australia’s T20I assignment in Pakistan was set to go ahead as planned and serve as key preparation ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026.
The confirmation of the ODI series is a significant boost for Pakistan’s home season, especially as the country continues to host top teams regularly and build momentum around high-profile bilateral cricket.
Before the ODIs, Australia are set to take on Pakistan for a three-match T20I series, starting tomorrow at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. All three matches will be played at the same venue on January 29, January 31, and February 1, and the series is already generating massive buzz, with tickets sold out across all enclosures, including hospitality boxes and PCB gallery tickets.
