The Wisconsin Badgers are massive favorites against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Saturday, with the spread continuing to rise ahead of kickoff.

Wisconsin opened as 16.5-point home favorites over the 2-6 Scarlet Knights, and that has since jumped to 19.5 points with injury information coming in. Among the info? Star wide receiver K.J. Duff, who was initially listed as doubtful on the injury report, is out against the Badgers.

Duff, a projected first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft, has 45 catches for 774 yards and nine touchdowns this season. He’s gone for over 75 yards in six of the seven games he’s played, and has been a majority of Rutgers’s offense at times this year.

Duff has nearly triple the next-highest Rutgers receiver, Jourdin Houston, so there are some big shoes to fill for the Scarlet Knights and quarterback AJ Surace amid Duff’s injury.

Rutgers has a loaded injury report. Kaj Sanders, Duff, Zahmir Dawud, Dylan Lonergan, Joey Kopec, Tyler Needham, Kwabena Asamoah, and J’Dan Burnett are all out. There are also six players questionable for the Scarlet Knights.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin has Kevin Heywood and Emmett Bork out, while Nate Palmer and Barrett Nelson are doubtful.

Wisconsin will need to handle business and is widely expected to do so after its big loss to Iowa last weekend. No Duff for Rutgers should only make that path more achievable.
