Samsung Q3 2026 Profit Expected To Hit massive $75 Billion
Samsung Electronics is expected to report a staggering Q3 2026 operating profit of more than 100 trillion Korean won, equivalent to roughly $75 billion, when it releases preliminary results on October 8.
Market estimates compiled by FnGuide put Samsung Elec’s Q3 2026 consolidated operating profit at around 106.9 trillion won. The semiconductor business is expected to drive almost all of that strength, with the DS division potentially generating about 110 trillion won.
That forecast has softened slightly from earlier expectations above 113 trillion won. A stronger Korean won against the dollar has increased cost pressure on Samsung’s finished-products businesses, including phones and home appliances.
The semiconductor outlook remains exceptionally strong. Analysts expect (via SemiconductorsX) Samsung’s DRAM shipments to have exceeded expectations during the quarter, while memory sales could surpass $100 billion for the first time.
Demand visibility is also improving, with customers reportedly discussing shipment allocations as far ahead as 2028.
HBM is another major factor, with analysts expecting Samsung’s HBM selling prices to rise sharply next year, potentially giving investors another reason to reassess the company’s valuation.
Still, the stock may not immediately benefit. Much of the blockbuster earnings forecast is already priced in, while ETF rebalancing could create additional selling pressure around the results.
