Launched my first app as a non-technical solo founder - She Glows, an AI beauty and wellness PWA

Wanted to share this here because I think the story is relevant to a lot of people in this community.

Background: I am a non-technical solo founder. No coding background. No funding. No team.

What I built: She Glows is an AI-powered beauty, weight loss, wellness and fashion app for women. It runs as a PWA and installs to any phone home screen like a native app without going through an app store.

Core features at launch:

- AI skin analysis from selfie (skin score, concern identification, product recommendations)

- AI body shape and face shape detection from photos with personalized fashion and beauty advice

- Complete weight loss system including AI meal plans, workout plans, calorie tracking, intermittent fasting timer, macro calculator, habit tracker and weight predictor

- Full nail tutorial studio from scratch for acrylics, gel, press-ons and nail art

- Virtual try-on using actual user photos for outfits, hairstyles, makeup and glasses

- Wellness hub covering mental health, hormone health, cycle syncing, sleep, stress and meditation

- Glow-Up system with confidence building and personal brand builder

- Community feed and challenges

- Ingredient toxicity checker for beauty products

Monetization: Currently in beta at $7.99 one time for lifetime access including all future updates.

Hosting: Free on Netlify as a static PWA.
