Social Media Reactions From Texas A&m Baseball's 5-1 Win Over Hcu

Texas A&M baseball started the new week off with a 5-1 victory over Houston Christian on Tuesday night at Blue Bell Park, as the Aggies prepare for another tough conference battle on the road this weekend.

While it was the lowest-scoring midweek affair of 2026, the Aggies handled business against the Huskies in Bryan-College Station, scoring five runs on seven hits, including two solo home runs. Those solo blasts came from center fielder Caden Sorrell and freshman right fielder Jorian Wilson.

Wilson, who recorded the second home run of his collegiate career against HCU, also had an incredible throw from right field to prevent a Husky from scoring in the top of the fifth. An inning later, left fielder Jake Duer made a diving catch to stop designated hitter Luke Bard from obtaining extra bases, which could have plated a run for HCU.

Following the 5-1 win over the Huskies, the Aggies are set for a road trip to Columbia, Missouri, for an SEC showdown against Mizzou. Game 1 is slated to begin on Friday at 6 p.m. CT, followed by Game 2 on Saturday at 4 p.m. CT and Sunday's series finale at 1 p.m. CT.

Clean dub for Texas A&M

Not super eventful but an extremely clean game by Texas A&M.

True freshman Jorian Wilson showed a glimpse of why so many are excited about his upside with a majestic HR and an electric throw to nail a runner at home from right field. https://t.co/QqFxbiZGEy
