NNEWI—Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo, and the Chairman of the Anambra State Council of Traditional Rulers and traditional ruler of Obosi Kingdom, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, have called on Ndigbo to channel their investments into their home states.

The appeal was made during the groundbreaking ceremony of Raphmaths Seaview Estate in Amansii, Awka, where both leaders commended Chief Raphael Ojiribe, Chairman and CEO of Raphmaths Estates, for his commitment to investing in Anambra and other parts of the South East.

Represented by his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Governor Soludo assured that the state government is tackling land grabbing, emphasizing that genuine investors and developers have nothing to fear when investing in Anambra. Dr. Ibezim noted, “Many Ndigbo go outside the state to develop other areas but have little to show at home. Raphmaths Estates’ focus on the South East and South South is commendable, and the government will fully support them.”

Igwe Iweka urged Ndigbo to prioritize local investments, saying that projects at home carry more lasting impact than those outside. Praising Chief Ojiribe’s integrity and hard work, he said, “He is honest, peace-loving, and a man worthy of emulation. Investors can trust him, as disputes over land are rare in his projects.”

In his address, Chief Ojiribe reflected on starting his real estate business in Obosi, describing the groundbreaking as “the laying of a vision” for structured, secure, and modern housing. He stressed that Raphmaths Estates aims to redefine development in the South East by creating controlled, world-class environments accessible to families and serious investors.

“This project represents more than land—it symbolizes security, structure, jobs, generational wealth, and long-term value,” he said. “We are building standards, not just houses.”

The event drew key dignitaries, including Hon. Peter Aneke, Hon. Gwacham Maureen Chinwe, Col. Bitrus M. Yakubu, and top officials from the Ministry of Lands and Town Planning, alongside traditional rulers from Amansii and Uruala, Imo State.
