Staff Sales Engineer

To support a growing business development team, the full-time Staff Sales Engineer will provide technical expertise throughout the sales lifecycle, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful solution design and execution in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Serve as the technical counterpart to the Partnerships team, leading technical discovery sessions and validating solution designs Act as a trusted technical advisor in meetings with utilities and strategic stakeholders, communicating Renew Home's capabilities and operational expectations Collaborate across departments to ensure technical alignment and translate market feedback into actionable insights for product strategy Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a related technical customer-facing role Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams Strong understanding of demand response, load flexibility, and distributed energy resource management concepts Experience leading technical customer engagements and translating complex concepts for diverse audiences Preferred: Experience with DERMS platforms and utility program delivery partners
