Syno Manager App For Synology Nas Setups
I have a Synology DS423+ that I use to back up our home MacBooks as well as my two Google Workspace accounts that we use for personal and business purposes. I frequently check on the status of the NAS, and often, I want to do that from my iPhone.
While Synology offers iPhone apps that sort of work to do that, there are a couple of third party iOS apps as well, and one of them, the one that I like best, is called Syno Manager. I use it with Tailscale so that I can easily remote into the NAS when I'm away from our home network.
Syno Manager offers a LOT of insight into my NAS operational status and backup tasks status.
The developer is very responsive and releases updates with new features frequently.
One small example of this: I asked the dev to add the info circled in the second screenshot so that I can manage my C2 storage usage and ensure that I don't use more storage on C2 than I can afford to budget for.
