This Tented Wedding In Rich Brown Was Designed To Feel Like A Luxurious Supper Club

Inspired by Maggie’s brand Hot Smart Rich, we wanted to include rich red hues complimented with deep browns.

The overall design was rich, layered and textured. We wanted the tent to feel like a luxurious supper club.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]The two were set up by a mutual friend and quickly realized they’d found something lasting. Within 30 minutes of meeting at an industry event, Maggie recalls turning to her sister and saying, “I think that’s my husband.” A year later, after discovering both of their parents shared the same wedding date—August 28—Courtney proposed in Paris just before the French Open Men’s Finals with a custom 7.08-carat emerald-cut ring, as their song “Higher Love” played across the empty stadium before the match began.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Catered by 24Carrots, guests dined on an all gluten free menu which was very important to our bride who is Celiac. The menu consisted of passed canapes, a seated dinner followed by late night provided by In & Out.[/field]

Designed by Birch Event Design, the tent was transformed into a luxurious supper club. Anchored by a centre baby grand piano, the experience was immersive and rich in colour and texture.

Keeping their engagement a secret, the couple planned their wedding quietly, sharing the news for the first time through their August 28, 2025 celebration—the exact date both sets of their parents had once married, a one-in-130,000 alignment they describe as fate.[/field]
