Tips For Starting My Own Side Business?
I need some tips.. how to start my own side hustle? For the past 2,5 years i have worked for a digital marketing agency offering SEO, Advertising, website building etc. I want to start taking my own projects on the side (smaller projects like web building, optimizing GMB, possibly some help with Ads, some maintenance work, but I wouldn't take big projects like the agency does). I have cleared this with my current job and they don't have a problem with me doing so, but I can't use any of the networks or connections through the agency to find my own clients. I do work remote and our clients are all over the US, so for example focusing on my local community won't be a problem with my work.
My goal is to first do some projects on the side and hopefully in the future I could just do my own thing entirely. Ironically, even though I work in marketing, I have no ideas how to get started in terms of building my own network and portfolio and finding clients... so I'd love some tips and ideas!
