Trump: Biden Only Gave Chip Grants To Trans People

ABC News reports:

President Donald Trump took aim at the CHIPS and Science Act, claiming companies sought out transgender executives to qualify for federal funding under the program.

Speaking at an event, Trump alleged that businesses receiving CHIPS Act incentives were forced to meet diversity-related requirements, saying that some companies “looked all over for transgender people to run the company” but “couldn’t find them.”

“If you weren’t transgender, as an example, you didn’t qualify. They had other things on their mind,” Trump said, drawing reactions from the audience.
