Bruce Vaughn Launches ‘The Curious Mind’ Substack

As announced recently on Bruce Vaughn’s Instagram, the Disney executive is launching a new Substack publication called “The Curious Mind.” You can follow along with Vaughn’s work here.

I’ve started something new.

It’s called The Curious Mind, a home for my essays, fiction, and explorations of the strange business of being alive.

I’ve always been fascinated by the questions that don’t have easy answers. Now I’ve decided to start writing about them.

Some philosophical, some personal, some fictional. All driven by curiosity.

I’ll be writing as B. Evan Vaughn. I’d love for you to come along. Link in bio.

Substack is an online platform that provides publishing, payment, analytics, and design infrastructure to support subscription-based content, including newsletters, podcasts, and video. Writers can send digital content directly to subscribers.

Bruce Vaughn returned to Walt Disney Imagineering as President and Chief Creative Officer in March 2023, seen by many as a welcome change after the Bob Chapek era. He first left The Walt Disney Company in 2016, where he was an Imagineer for 22 years. From May 2007 to his departure in 2023, he was also CCO of Imagineering.

Vaughn recently appeared on stage at D23 this year to announce that the second season of The Imagineering Story will debut in early 2028 on Disney+.
