Watch: Brewers’ Jackson Chourio Delivers In 7th Inning Of The World Series (video)

Jackson Chourio picked the perfect time to time to come through with a big hit. The Milwaukee Brewers outfielder delivered an RBI single in Game 1 of the World Series on Friday night, giving Milwaukee a 3-1 lead over the Tampa Bay Rays and sending the home crowd into another celebration at American Family Field.

For a Brewers team that has waited decades to get back to the Fall Classic, every run feels important. Chourio’s hit gave Milwaukee a little breathing room and put the pressure back on Tampa Bay.

The 22-year-old has become one of the most important players on the Brewers‘ roster, and moments like this are a big reason why. Chourio has the ability to change a game with one swing, and Milwaukee needed that kind of contribution as it looks to get off to a strong start in the World Series.  Below is the video.

The Brewers are trying to finish off a remarkable season by winning the first World Series championship in franchise history. They have already taken care of business against the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League playoffs. Now, they are trying to carry that momentum into the biggest series of them all.

Tampa Bay is not going to go away quietly, but Chourio’s hit gave Milwaukee an important boost in Game 1.

The Brewers still have plenty of baseball left to play, but their young star has already given the home crowd something to celebrate. If Milwaukee is going to bring a championship back to Wisconsin, it will need contributions like this from Chourio and the rest of its lineup.
