In his social media post, Chivayo revealed that he and his family had been welcomed to their new home in Clifton, one of South Africa’s most sought-after residential areas.

“We were welcomed to our new home in Clifton/Cape Town last weekend,” he wrote.

The businessman said the project cost a total of R160 million, including the property and all interior work.

Chivayo joins elite Clifton neighbourhood

The purchase places Chivayo among the high-profile residents of Clifton, a luxury coastal suburb known for attracting wealthy businesspeople, celebrities and public figures.

This makes Chivayo a neighbour of South African businessman Solly “MySol” Madibela.

The area is also home to internationally acclaimed South African DJ and music producer Black Coffee, making Chivayo one of the entertainer’s neighbours.

Clifton’s properties rank among the most expensive in South Africa, with many homes offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and easy access to Cape Town’s famous beaches.

Tribute to late Ashleigh

Despite celebrating the milestone, Chivayo used part of his message to remember Ashleigh, whose passing he said continues to affect the family.

“As we celebrate this new beautiful home, we continue to miss and pray that may our beloved Ashleigh’s beautiful and dear soul continue to rest in eternal peace,” he wrote.

The post quickly attracted reactions from followers, with many congratulating the businessman on his latest acquisition while others commented on the scale of the investment.

Chivayo’s mansion sparks online buzz

The post sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many followers congratulating Chivayo on his latest acquisition.

User @Ginimbilite described the property as “a reflection of vision, hard work, and God’s abundant favour,” wishing Chivayo and his family joy and blessings in their new home.

Others focused on the sheer size of the mansion, with @DephineNyekete joking: “A luxurious home indeed. I just got a headache thinking about the person who is going to clean this mansion.”

Meanwhile, @Tapuwa T-Fresh Mhlanga praised both the home and Chivayo’s tribute to Ashleigh, saying it was touching that he had remembered her “even in a moment of such great joy and celebration,” adding that it showed the love he continues to carry for her.
