What Kind Of Marketing Help Should I Hire First For My Small Business?
I own a small retail business in Mississippi, and I have reached the point where I know I need marketing help, but I am not sure what kind of person I actually need.
I already have a website, products, vendors, customers, and social media pages. My problem is that I have too many ideas and no clear system.
I need help deciding:
● what I should promote first
● how to turn social media views into sales
● how often I should post
● what kind of content I should focus on
● how to promote local events and services
● how to bring more people to my website
● how to get repeat customers
● how to tell what is actually working
I do not think I only need someone to make posts for me. I need help looking at the whole business, choosing the best opportunities, and creating a plan I can realistically follow.
For other small business owners, who would you hire first?
A marketing consultant, social media manager, business coach, sales strategist, or someone else?
I would also appreciate advice on what questions I should ask before hiring anyone and what red flags I should watch for.
