Zara Parent Inditex Lifts Annual Sales, Profit As All Brands See Improvement

Zara’s parent Inditex has reported strong uplifts in both its top and bottom line, driven by higher sales performance at all brands under its portfolio.

Total net sales for FY25, which ended on January 31, grew 3.2 per cent to €39.9 billion (US$46 billion). Excluding currency exchange, sales rose 7 per cent.

The company noted that its sales have grown 22 per cent on a reported basis over the last three years, while the number of stores has been reduced by 6 per cent, reinforcing the consistency of its long-term growth.

All brands under the Inditex umbrella recorded sales growth during the year. The core Zara business, which includes the Zara, Zara Home and Lefties brands, lifted sales by 1 per cent to €28 billion.

Among other brands, Oysho led in growth rate with a 15 per cent uplift, followed by Stradivarius and Bershka, each with an over 12 per cent increase. Sales at Pull&Bear were up 3.1 per cent, and Massimo Dutti rose 3 per cent.

The company’s gross profit increased 3.9 per cent to €23.2 billion, while gross margin was up by 42 bps to 58.3 per cent. Net income for the year jumped 6 per cent to €6.2 billion.

“These results reflect the ability of our teams to honour the trust that millions of customers place in our eight commercial formats every day,” said Óscar García Maceiras, CEO of Inditex.

“Connecting with them, understanding their desires and delivering the best product and a differentiated experience underpin our long-term growth expectations.”

At the end of FY2025, Inditex operated 5460 stores in 214 markets. 

The company has also recorded positive results so far in the new fiscal year, with store and online sales between February 1 and March 8 increasing 9 per cent in constant currency.
