‘summer House’ Star West Wilson Opens Up About Dating & Self-love
Bravo’s “Summer House” season 10 returns to the Hamptons with exes Ciara Miller and West Wilson kicking off the summer on a much better, brighter note than last year. The trailer hints at a possible rekindling, as both open up about how much they’ve missed each other.
Though fans will have to wait to see how things unfold between the two, a recent interview with Elite Daily gave the sports journalist a chance to share a refreshing perspective on building a healthy relationship, starting with being truly “content” with yourself.
West Wilson Shares His Honest Thoughts About Dating

The “Summer House” star opened up to Elite Daily, sharing dating advice that mirrors the approach he’s been taking in his own life.
“Iâm not the spokesperson for dating by any means, but I think being content on your own is really important,” he began. “Once you have that mastered, a relationship is a plus. Needing a relationship feels like filling a void, and needing to be content to be in a relationship isnât the healthiest way to prioritize things in your life.”
He continued, ” If youâre a happy single person, then once that relationship happens, itâs just an extra bonus on a cup thatâs already full.”
The new season trailer shows Wilson and Miller on better terms. Their romance began in the Hamptons during season 8 after Wilson moved in, but it ended abruptly, and not without drama. In the following season, Miller kept her distance, yet the trailer hints that time (and some farm animals) may have healed all wounds, with the former couple potentially on a path to reconciliation.
Ciara Miller Shares She & Wilson ‘Made A Lot of Headway’ in Season 10
While fans have to keep watching the new season to see what the future holds for Miller and Wilson, she told ET that their relationship has made noticeable progress.
“I mean, he comes and sits on my bed the first episode, which is like, huge because I didn’t even speak to him last summer,” she began. “But, I feel like we made a lot of headway this summer and it’ll be interesting to see it all play out.”
When Miller was asked how she handles the public shipping her and Wilson, she shared, “This is when I wish we were a scripted show. I don’t know, I think it’s really sweet. I think it’s interesting to see how much they loved us being together or loved our relationship.”
She continued, “But it was tough when we weren’t on speaking terms. I’m so much happier now that we are speaking to each other and are building back a friendship. I’m just thankful to have him as a friend because I feel like we really were best friends at one point.”
Episodes of “Summer House” season 10 air on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Bravo ET, and stream the next day on Peacock.
