Guy Says He'd Never Date A Democrat So I Gave Him Some Life Advice

He said he'd never date a Democrat. Buddy, you could have stopped after "I'm never going to date anyone." The rest of that sentence isn't up to you.

I get wanting a partner who shares your politics, whether you're a Democrat or a Republican. But when you're cutting off half the dating pool before anyone's even shown interest, maybe it's time to cast a wider net and be a little less picky. My friend Daryl said it first, and he's right.

Then I take the life advice a few steps further, because based on what we're seeing, even a wider net might come up empty. Lowering your standards, paying for the experience, starting a GoFundMe, getting creative on your own: no option is off the table when you are this much in need.

Real talk and some very unconventional dating advice for the guy who said he'd only date a Republican woman, plus why politics might be the least of his problems.
