The story follows Yui Katakura, a 40-year-old woman who has spent much of her life carefully managing her money and avoiding unnecessary expenses. When she learns that she has only one year left to live, she begins reconsidering how she wants to spend her remaining time.

For the first time, Yui decides to use her savings on something unexpected. She enters into an arrangement with Sena, a young nightclub host, effectively paying for his companionship.

What initially begins as a financial agreement gradually develops into a more complicated personal relationship. As Yui adjusts to her diagnosis and her changing circumstances, her connection with Sena takes an unexpected direction.
